I was born in Glasgow but spent much of my downtime in rural places and so began a deep affinity and love of the outdoors and the natural world.

After travelling through Canada, America and New Zealand I returned to settle for a short while in Perthshire, Scotland – but never left.

I live at home with my husband and two children on just over an acre of land where much of what we put on our plates is picked from the garden. Also at home are the menagerie of animals including dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and hens.

I work full time as an educational leader in a secondary school, supporting young people to be all that they can be with a strong foundation in both academic and mental wellness.

I recognise the growing stresses and pressures on people today as they juggle and navigate a busy, modern life.

After feeling the demands of life becoming imbalanced, I took action turning 15 years of personal yoga practice into something I can share with others as a way to navigate the seas of life.

Today I am an ashtanga yoga teacher who teaches both ashtanga and vinyasa flow as a form of strength building, stress relief and space creation.

I also use meditation and breathwork as tools for coaching others in self-study and self-development. Meditation has many benefits, for me it has brought self-love, self-belief, stress relief and calm.

Now I share what I have learned through:

  • private coaching
  • retreats
